The Brixen Südtirol Card offers free public transport throughout South Tyrol, including regional trains, public buses, ski buses (winter), selected cable cars, historical railways and the Almbus to the Rodenecker–Lüsner Alp.
The card must be validated before every journey.
Lift facilities included (1 free ascent and descent per day during selected periods):
Gitschberg Jochtal area: Gitschberg-Nesselbahn & Jochtalbahn
14.05–10.07.2026 and 05.09–07.11.2026
Above Brixen (Mt Plose): Plose & Pfannspitz cable cars, Palmschoß chairlift
23.05–10.07.2026 and 05.09–01.11.2026
Free pools and lidos:
All year: Acquarena Brixen
Summer season: Mühlbach, Klausen and Feldthurns lidos
Museums & culture:
Free admission to selected cultural sites, including Castle Rodenegg, Hofburg and Pharmacy Museum in Brixen, Neustift Abbey, Villanders Mining Museum, Klausen Town Museum, Lodenwelt and Capriz.
